I read this anecdotal thing about Winston Churchill and his cat, Nelson, and how he'd always talk to him and this made him seem slightly weird and insane which is apparently what happens to everyone when they have a cat.
Also I think this comic pretty is pretty conclusive evidence that I have not even the faintest idea what an air raid looks like.
